Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, phone) by the website you visit. It allows information to be remembered between visits, such as your login session or preferences. Cookies can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (kept for days or months).

These cookies are essential for the site to function. They cannot be disabled. They include: the Supabase session cookie (sb-access-token / sb-refresh-token) that keeps you logged in during your visit, and the language preference cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) that remembers your choice of English or French. These cookies collect no personally identifiable information and are never shared with third parties.

We may in the future use a privacy-friendly analytics tool (such as Plausible or Matomo, without third-party cookies or cross-site tracking) to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are viewed. This data is fully anonymized. No analytics cookies are currently deposited.

Pro plan payments are handled by Stripe, which may place its own cookies strictly necessary for the transaction. These cookies are governed by Stripe's privacy policy. We do not embed any social media widgets, ad networks, or third-party tracking pixels.

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. The language cookie persists for 1 year. Stripe payment-related cookies have a lifespan defined by Stripe (typically 30 minutes for the payment session).

You can delete cookies placed by restocking.app at any time via your browser settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and site data). Most browsers also allow you to block cookies by default. Note: blocking essential cookies will prevent the site from working properly (you won't be able to stay logged in).
