COS, Aritzia, Sézane: How to Get Alerts Before Everyone Else
These three cult brands have very different restock systems. Here's how to optimize your alerts for each one.
COS, Aritzia, Sézane: Three Brands, Three Stock Systems
These three brands are among the most requested on restocking. But their inventory management systems are radically different. Here's how to maximize your chances for each.
COS: The Good Student
COS offers a native alert system — but it has its limits.
What works:
- The native email alert functions (when it arrives)
- The site is easy to scrape, data is structured
What doesn't work:
- 1-24h delay depending on traffic peaks
- No size distinction in the email
Our approach: We scan COS every 5 minutes on Pro. Our detection identifies restocks by size before the native email even sends.
Aritzia: The Wild West
Aritzia is the most frustrating brand for restocks. No alerts at all. A stock system that changes several times a day.
Specifics:
- Returns are immediate (as soon as the package is scanned at the warehouse)
- Stock varies enormously by color (one color may be in stock, another not)
Tip: Create alerts for ALL colors you're interested in. Returns are independent by color at Aritzia.
Sézane: Parisian Chic
Sézane has a unique "re-stock" system. They announce restocks at fixed dates on Instagram.
What to know:
- Major restocks are announced on social media
- Individual returns arrive randomly
- Cart empties after 30 minutes (artificial urgency)
Our approach: We monitor Sézane product pages continuously. Random returns (outside scheduled restocks) are our specialty — you receive the alert within 2-3 minutes.
